Wellington, Fl - August 12 - The 110th Annual Monmouth County Horse Show, held at East Freehold Park, in Freehold, New Jersey, is New Jersey's longest running and most prestigious equestrian competition. The show, which runs from August 17th through August 21, 2005, will feature top show jumping riders, including five United States Olympians and a member of the Irish Olympic team.

Blowing Rock, NC- August 11- Over the Hill Farm, headed by trainer Bill Schaub of Sanford, FL, recently finished competition at the Blowing Rock Horse Show series on July 28-31 and August 3-7 and came away with multiple honors that encompassed the range of events at the show. Saugerties, NY- August 8- The final summer HITS-on-the-Hudson show in Saugerties, NY, was held this past August 3-7, and SBS Farms Inc. came away with six championships and three reserve championships. These wins gave many of the horses the title of circuit champion, which reflected the totaled points from all three summer shows.

More than 300 of the country's best ranch horses could be found in Bowling Green, Kentucky, June 24-26, competing for World Champion titles and $15,000 in prizes and prize money. The number of entries at the inaugural American Ranch Horse Association (ARHA) World Show topped 1,100 in 83 conformation, performance, and cattle classes.

Bill Black and his 20-year-old Foundation Quarter Horse Mr. Critter Bars were named American Ranch Horse Association (ARHA) Ranch Roping World Champions at the ARHA World Show in Bowling Green, Kentucky, at the end of June. The pair bested 15 other horses and riders for the win.
